Light has already changed people's lives from the past to the present, where people need to work in the dark, to unconstant light supply of candles, fire, oil lamps to the present of lightbulbs and even LED light.
ii. Rationale for selecting this innovation:
I think that light has really brought about huge impacts onto lives of people. With light, people are able to work 24 hours everyday and fully utilize their time to do work and spend time with their families due to the constant supply of light. LED light in specific, it has changed the lives of people and organizations who depend heavily on lights. Replacing the normal fluorescent, incandescent light bulbs with LED lightbulbs will generate cost savings as light bulbs rarely get replaced and it consumes less energy. In the future, if LED light bulb is able to be self-sustainable and everybody is to use the LED light bulb to replace incandescent lightbulbs, it could create a solution to the scarcity of natural resources.

Firstly, under the introduction/background, I think the order is a little opposite. Maybe you should talk about life without light and how it light up our life! Then move on to the main dish: LED light.
Also, you can have a peek preview of what so special about LED, highlighting whether the element of game changer?
Moving on to the current situations, its very good as you talk about the both practical uses and fanciful uses of LED light. Also, encompassing the pros and cons! Pardon me, for the second part "Discussion and AnalysisWith Reference to (Jared Diamond)", I don't really get it. I'm n
ot very sure what will be covered here. It's kind of abrupt but I believe you will make it flow well.
For the future, I think its very interesting because as people gets wealthier, they will have more wants to strive for. Amd its a potential market as lights are important for us. Regardless at home, work, school,malls, lights are indispensable.

ReplyDeleteFrom the outline I could see that you put much though into it. It is overall very detailed and cover almost all that could be possibly covered in the topic. There aren't much comments from me, as your outline is already good, however just few suggestions to make it even better:
Introduction - I think the flow of your introduction will be better if you put the point "how's life before light' before the "brief history of light".
Current Situation - You already have a detailed points in this section, however I think there is an overlap in the points "increased prolonged lifespan" & "energy saving" with "modern use of LED and its advantages and disadvantages". Because from what I know those two points are actually the advantages of LED, and thus I think it will be more organized if you put those inside the points of the pros and cons of LED light. Once again, this is just a suggestion from me based on what I saw in your outline, I might not know what's your detailed plan, so yah, it's up to you to take it :)
Future Considerations - You have covered much points that could be covered here actually, but just another suggestion, from what I know from your title, you wanted to talk about the technology and revolution of lighting and not specifically about LED light, so I think you should talk beyond LED here, like for example, predict how's the future light after LED might be.
Just a few suggestions from me, don't take it personally :)
